Versatile Pegboard Wall Shelf with Hooks

This wall‑mounted storage system consists of a perforated hardboard panel integrated with a fixed wooden shelf at the bottom. The pegboard is made from 6 mm thick tempered hardboard with a standard 9 mm hole pattern (holes spaced 25 mm apart), finished with a pigmented acrylic coating in a neutral light grey colour. The attached shelf is constructed from solid pine, 50 cm wide, 15 cm deep, and 1.8 cm thick, with a clear water‑based varnish. The overall assembled size is 50 cm wide, 50 cm high, and 15 cm deep. The pegboard section includes 15 steel peg hooks in two lengths (ten 5 cm hooks and five 8 cm hooks) with black oxide finishes; these can be repositioned freely into any of the 9 mm holes to accommodate different hanging needs. The fixed shelf provides a stable surface for placing items such as a small Bluetooth speaker, a stack of notepads, or a coffee mug (max mug height 12 cm). The pegboard itself is not load‑bearing except through the hooks; it is mounted to the wall via four screw holes along its perimeter, using the included wall anchors. The shelf is supported from underneath by two triangular steel brackets that are welded to a backplate which shares the same wall fixings. The maximum load for the shelf is 3 kg; each peg hook has a maximum individual capacity of 1 kg, with a total hook load not exceeding 4 kg when distributed across multiple hooks. The acrylic coating on the pegboard is wipe‑clean with a damp cloth but is susceptible to scratching from metal hook shanks if hooks are forced in at an angle. The pine shelf has a Janka hardness of approximately 540 lbf, making it moderately resistant to dents, but heavy or sharp objects may leave impressions. The unit is shipped disassembled with a hex key and screws for attaching the shelf to the pegboard; assembly takes approximately 10 minutes. The total packaged weight is 2.5 kg. This system is designed for home offices, craft rooms, or kitchen backsplashes to organise lightweight tools, measuring spoons, or small hanging plants. It is not intended for heavy power tools, full paint cans, or any high‑impact use. For drywall, use of supplied plastic anchors is acceptable for loads under 5 kg, but for heavier loads, locating wall studs is strongly advised.
